The Friends of Penmere Station ' held their 30th Anniversary Celebration Gala, in the Station Car Park on Saturday.
With blue skies and the sun shining for most of the day, a host of attractions entertained and interested a good crowd of visitors to make for a great steamy atmosphere!
From a full size steam traction engine, and a mini one, a 1940's London Taxicab, a Clockwork Railway to various stalls including a Mission for Seafarers (Falmouth) stand, and the Station Adopters display of many photographs of Penmere through early and activity years there was plenty for all to see.
The deputy mayor of Falmouth Cllr Alan Rowe also unveiled a 30th Anniversary plaque on the members bench on the platform.

A memorable landmark occasion for the 'Friends '
A plaque celebrating the 160th Anniversary year of the Falmouth to Truro branchline, and also the Friends three decades of Custodianship, was also unveiled on the platform waiting shelter by Rail Minister Hugh Merriman two days earlier.
