There was only one place to be on Bank Holiday Monday and that was at the Porthleven Torchlight Procession.
Hundreds of people gathered at the Moors Recreation Ground at 8pm to process along the Porthleven Harbour as dusk fell led by Porthleven Town Band.
People taking part in the procession were also able to enjoy food supplied by local businesses at the Shipyard Market including Poke Food.

The Torchlight Procession was revived by the Porthleven Community Group in 2013 but is believed to originate back to 1948, as part of the Gala Week festivities.
It took a break over Covid but returned in 2021.
The event attracts approximately 1000 people parading through Porthleven with their torches making it a wonderful spectacle and end to summer, on the August Bank Holiday Monday.
