According to the Met Office forecast, some parts of Cornwall will be hit with heavy rainfall and the possibility of thunderstorms tomorrow (Saturday) evening. 

Other parts of the UK have a yellow weather warning in place - Cornwall misses out on such extreme weather, but the sunshine will be coming to an end.

Temperatures are expected to reach up to 24 degrees in some places tomorrow afternoon.

HELSTON

There is a 50% chance of thunderstorms in Helston on Saturday (Image: The Met Office)

There is a 50% chance of thunderstorms hitting Helston at around 9pm on Saturday evening. However, the temperature will remain quite high at 20 degrees. 

FALMOUTH

Thunderstorms wont hit Falmouth, however there is 50% chance of heavy rain (Image: The Met Office)

Although thunderstorms aren't predicted to hit Falmouth on Saturday, there is a 50% chance of rain showers at around 9pm. 

PENZANCE

Temperatures in Penzance will reach 23 degrees during Saturday afternoon. However, there will be some light rain showers at around 9pm in the evening. 

CAMBORNE

Thunderstorms are predicted in Camborne on Saturday evening (Image: The Met Office)

Temperatures in Camborne will reach 24 degrees on Saturday afternoon. However, there is a 60% chance of thunderstorms at around 8pm, followed by heavy rain at 9pm and 10pm. 

TRURO  

Truro has a 40% chance of rain during Saturday evening (Image: The Met Office)
