Tripadvisor has released a list of the best-ranked restaurants globally – including one in Cornwall.
Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 in Padstow Cornwall has been ranked as the eighth best in the ‘Favourite Fine Dining Restaurants Worldwide’ which includes top restaurants in Amsterdam, Japan, France, India, Thailand, and Egypt.
As well as being named one of the best worldwide, Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 has been ranked the second-best restaurant in the ‘Fine Dining Restaurants in the UK 2023’ list with the number one spot going to The Old Stamp House Restaurant, Ambleside.
TripAdvisor said: “Paul Ainsworth at No. 6, a restaurant in Padstow Cornwall, that presents ‘modern British’ fare.”

As previously reported in the Packet Chef Patron Paul Ainsworth was awarded the top award in the prestigious AA Hospitality Awards 2023. At that time, the AA said: “Popular among his peers, he’s modest, humble and passionate about hospitality, so it’s no surprise he’s been voted as this year’s Chef’s Chef.”
