Great Western Railway has announced that they have suspended all train services today in Cornwall.
Due to flooding and fallen trees on lines in Cornwall, GWR has decided to suspend all rail and bus services in Cornwall until further notice.
In a statement on its website, GWR has advised customers “not to travel” due to the very high winds and rainfall expected from Storm Cirian.

Due to flooding and fallen trees the lines below are currently closed and there is no service operating:

A spokesperson for GWR said: “Due to the severe weather between Plymouth and Penzance, all lines are closed.
“Train services running to and from these stations will be cancelled. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
“Customers travelling to and from any stations between Plymouth and Penzance are advised not to travel. This is in response to the very high winds and rainfall expected from Storm Ciaran.
“This includes the planned road transport between St Austell and St Erth.
“If travelling from Plymouth direction down towards Penzance, please be advised there will be no onward travel available.
