Storm Ciaran certainly left its mark on Cornwall after leaving thousands of homes without power, trees blocking roads and schools opening later or closing fully for the day.
Many people in Cornwall were awoken by the sound of heavy and strong winds in the early hours of Thursday morning and some faced disruptions in and outside of their property.
Throughout Cornwall, roads were closed due to trees which had fallen, thousands of homes were without power for several hours and rail services were suspended because of flooding and debris on the track.
The strong winds also brought large waves crashing into the Cornish coastline with a huge amount of seafoam blowing onto beaches across the county.
However, now the wind has eased slightly, many places in the Duchy are still faced with the disruption the storm has brought to Cornwall.
