St Michaels Resort has announced a partnership with a Falmouth charity over the coming year, starting this month.
The hotel in Falmouth is partnering with Georgia's Voice, a respected mental health charity that supports young women across Cornwall.
To back this initiative, St Michaels plans to donate a share of its sales revenue from Give Back Friday, which is set to be held from November 20 to 27.
The aim is to make a meaningful contribution to the local community during the Black Friday period.
The charity was picked for this project in a vote by the hotel staff, most of whom live in Falmouth.
Tim Fryer, resort director at St Michaels Resort, said: "Our partnership with Georgia’s Voice is important to us at St Michaels and highlights our commitment to the local area, a thread that is woven through everything we do.
"To echo the charity’s manifesto, we are stronger together and with a young, talented team here at the resort, we look forward to working with the charity to ensure every young woman across the county feels safe, connected and supported."
St Michaels plans to offer the charity their event spaces, back it with staff fundraising events, and will keep endorsing its services via the hotel's channels and within the resort.
