People are being asked to call 999 if they see a pensioner who has not been seen in five days.
Police say they are are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the 72-year-old, who has been reported missing from the Penzance area.
David Newby was last seen in Penzance during the afternoon of last, Friday, November 10.
He is described as a white male, of slim build with shoulder-length light brown and grey hair. He is 5ft 7in tall.
He was last seen wearing blue trousers, green wellies and a black O’Neill Ski Coat. He has butterfly tattoos.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "If you have seen David, or know of his whereabouts, please call police immediately on 999, quoting log number 443 of 15/11/23."
