A beach in Cornwall has been named as the top place to visit during winter due to how warm it is.
According to Parkdean Resorts, Kynance Cove located two miles north of the Lizard Peninsula is one of the best winter beach walks in the UK with an average temperature of 11.5C.
As well as Kynance topping the charts, another Cornish beach also features in the top ten places to go this winter for a beach walk. Porthcurno Beach on the south coast of Cornwall is also featured fourth in the list. According to Parkdean Resorts, Porthcurno has an average temperature of 10.5C.
Parkdean Resorts described Kynance as a "stunning spectacle" whilst Porthcurno was described as a "stand-out destination for travellers".
Other beaches with higher temperatures in the UK include Studland–Shell Bay in Dorset (11.3C) and Barafundle Bay, Pembrokeshire in Wales (11C). However, Camber Sands Beach in East Sussex recorded an average temperature of 9.5C whilst Aldeburgh Beach in Suffolk recorded an average temperature of 8.5C.
