A driver has suffered life changing injuries after their car was involved in a collision on Dartmoor on Monday night.
Emergency services were called the to the B3212 between Princetown and Dousland, Dartmoor following reports of a collision involving a blue VW Golf GTD.
Police say the driver suffered life changing injuries in the collision and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment.
Police are currently investigating a serious collision which left a man with life-changing injuries.
The road was closed while police carried out an investigation of the scene.
Devon and Cornwall Police issued an appeal for information following the collision. It said:
"Emergency services were notified at approximately 11.45pm on Monday, December 4 to reports of a collision on the B3212 between Princetown and Dousland, Dartmoor.
"The incident involved one vehicle – a blue VW Golf GTD.
"As a result of the collision, the driver suffered life changing injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital.
"Local Officers and Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended the scene. Once a full investigation had been conducted the road was re-opened.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information regarding it – in particular any dashcam footage, are asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 quoting log number 880 04/12/2023."
