A LUXURY Cornish hotel has celebrated the tenth anniversary of its spa by winning a coveted award.
The Headland spa, which has recently marked a decade of indulgence with the introduction of its Decadence experiences, has been named the best in the southwest for the second consecutive year, as part of the AA Best UK Spa awards.
Jason Adams, The Headland’s Managing Director, said: “It is amazing for us to have won this award which holds so much value in the competitive world of hospitality.
“It is a testament to the spa team’s ongoing commitment and expertise that we have been recognised for our wonderful wellness experiences which we offer for both guests and non-residents.”
The five-star clifftop hotel was shortlisted together with two other finalists for the southwest region of the AA’s annual awards, before being revealed as the winner at an awards ceremony in London last week.
The family-owned business, which was recently crowned Independent Hotel of the Year, has unveiled several experiences for guests to celebrate the Spa’s tenth birthday.
The Decadence stay at The Headland includes a night’s stay, use of the Spa and Aqua Club facilities, a credit towards dinner in Restaurant RenMor, and a Rhassoul mud treatment for two people.
The Decadence Spa Day entitles guests to use of the Thermal Journey; an adult-only area inclusive of a hydrotherapy pool, Cornish salt steam room, Swedish sauna and jacuzzi.
Jason added: “Over the past ten years our spa has evolved into a sanctuary of tranquillity, a place where guests come to find respite from the modern world. We look forward to another ten years of nurturing well-being, creating cherished memories, and being a beacon of serenity."
