Falmouth Community Football Club showcased its festive spirit over the weekend - and raised £1,700.
The team, which is based at Falmouth School, welcomed 300 children age four to 16 to partake in football training, with intervals to visit Santa for a special gift and a Christmas card.
A variety of festivities including a tombola, raffle, and cake stall were overseen by parents.
The club's sixth Community Champion award was given to Frank Coles (U8) for his significant developments in football this year.
The club chairperson Janine Kennedy said: "This was a fantastic morning of festivity and fun enjoyed by so many children and families from the community.
"It is incredible to see what amazing things can happen when our community football club comes together".
Festivities were elevated by the club's successful weekend, where seven out of the nine teams progressed to the semi-finals of the Cornwall Youth Football League Cup.
Arno Canale, club president, was honoured with a club tie and handkerchief.
The event generated £1,700 which will be reinvested back into the club.
