A Cornish company has received recognition at the National Scaffolding Awards.
ScaffFloat, a Penryn start-up, was commended in the innovation category at the London event last week.
The firm uses patented scaffolding-based technology to construct pontoons and workboats.
It was represented at the gala by leading team members including Joanna Butler, Ben Dean and MD Toby Budd.
Speaking at the awards, Mr Budd said: "Whilst it’s a shame we didn’t win, it was still great to be shortlisted.
"We had a great night and met lots of folk in the industry we have and plan to work with."
Since its inception, ScaffFloat has completed more than 100 projects and provided more than 1,000 hours of safe floating access globally, from Cyprus and Malta to Australia.
