Police are appealing for dashcam footage after a serious collision in Helston on Friday left a cyclist with life changing injuries.
Police were called at around 11.15am on Friday, December 8 to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A3083 near RNAS Culdrose in Helston.
The collision involved a car and a cyclist and as a result, the cyclist, a man in his 50s, sustained serious and potentially life changing injuries.
The police attended the scene and are investigating the collision.
To assist with the investigation, the police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has information regarding it, to please get in touch.
We are also interested to hear from anyone with dashcam footage that could have captured anything relevant to this incident.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene.
A police spokesperson told the Packet at the time: “Officers were called around 11.20am today, 8 December, following a collision between a car and a cyclist on A3083.
“Ambulances are also in attendance.
“The male cyclist has sustained injuries [severity not yet known] and has been taken to Treliske Hospital.”
