Truro Cathedral is set to host a Christmas concert to fundraise for Ukraine.
The event, taking place on December 21, has been organised to raise money to buy two second-hand ambulances to be sent to Ukraine.
It is expected to get underway at 7pm in the evening.
The show boasts an exciting line-up of the South West's finest choirs, solo performances, and a special appearance by esteemed children's author Sir Michael Morpurgo.
Mr Morpurgo, revered for his children's books such as War Horse and Private Peaceful, revealed he wrote a special story for the occasion about a Ukrainian girl who makes her way to the UK.
In addition to his eagerly awaited contribution, compering duties for the evening will be handled by local Adrian Wilton.
Participating choirs include the award-winning Cornwall Youth Choir, and the experienced Canoryon Lowen, who are particularly known for their brilliant harmonies.
Community choirs, NoteAbility, and Carclaze Voices, will also perform, having significantly contributed to various global causes over the last decade.
Another highlight of the concert will be the Ukrainian Harmony Choir, created for refugees in the Cornwall area, which will perform traditional Ukrainian music.
Among solo performances, remarkable soloist Nicole Medin, who has Ukrainian heritage, and twelve-year-old pianist Sofia Purei, also from Ukraine, are set to impress.
In addition to music, the event will feature the sale of Ukrainian artwork and cake, as well as a bar.
