There was huge excitement at Falmouth Court as some Miniature American Horses came by to visit the residents and staff as a festive treat.
Staff and residents at Barchester’s Falmouth Court care home, in Falmouth, had a wonderful time learning about the very friendly horses owned by one of the homes care team Gail Bastian, finding out about their habits and what they like to eat. Several of the residents got to feed the horses some of their favourite treats.
General Manager, Haley Reeve-Larson said: “We had the best time with the horses, they are such gorgeous creatures. Our residents loved spending time with them, I do hope they come back to visit us soon.”
Our varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
Falmouth Court is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering high-quality care across its care homes and hospitals. Falmouth Court provides residential care, dementia care and respite care.
