A man in his seventies has been found dead after police were called to an address in Porthleven this morning.
Police were called at 8.05am today, December 27, following concern for the welfare of a man at an address in Porthleven.
When they arrived at the property in Peverell Road a man in his 70s was found deceased there.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin have been told.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson issued a brief statement saying: "Police were called at 8.05am today, 27 December, following concern for the welfare of a man at an address in Porthleven.

"On arrival officers located the man in his 70s deceased within the property in Peverell Road.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious.
"His next of kin have been informed."
Early this morning neighbours reported in a post on Facebook that Peverell Road and Peverell Terrace were blocked by the emergency services at around 8.55am making the road impassable.
