Public toilets with a 'stunning sea view' overlooking a Cornish landmark are on sale - for £20,000.
Cornwall Council has announced the "rare and exciting" opportunity to purchase a detached block of former loos on the seafront near Penzance in Cornwall.
Located at Long Rock in the Penwith district the block is being sold with 0.12 acres of surrounding land.
The former WCs are located with a stunning view of the 12th century St Michael's Mount - earning them the nickname of "loos with a view."
The unusual building is among 135 lots listed by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers at its next sale set to take place from February 5 to 7.
Senior auction appraiser Katie Semmens said: “This is a rare and exciting opportunity to acquire this freehold detached former block of public conveniences with land to either side.
“Located in a truly spectacular position on the seafront, it boasts stunning views towards St Michael's Mount and Mount's Bay.
“Occasionally these type of properties come to auction although rarely in this type of location.
''They may offer a variety of future uses, all subject to all necessary consents.”
Described as being in a "truly spectacular position", the overall site extends to 0.05 hectares (0.12 acres).
The sale includes both men’s and ladies’ facilities and surrounding land, which together have a freehold guide price of £20,000 plus.
