Science of the Sea is set to take over the National Maritime Museum Cornwall this February half term.
The family-friendly show will run every day during the holiday, promising crafts workshops, a museum trail, and an explosive display to spark children's curiosity.
The Wonderstruck Forces & Energy Show will tackle interesting questions about the movement of boats, ships, and submarines, and explore their energy sources.
Expert guide, Mr Wright will take visitors on a 25-minute journey through the world of forces and energy.
Packed with fun and information, the show will see Mr Wright perform a series of experiments, including propelling a volunteer across stage on a rocket car and explosively demonstrating the energy content of breakfast cereal.
The show will run four times daily at 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm and 3.30pm, with quieter sessions on Sundays at 11am.
Alongside the show, the Make & Take event will offer a chance for participants to create their own mini paper cup rocket.
The museum trail will then invite young visitors to explore the wonders of science and history housed within the museum.
The National Maritime Museum Cornwall, situated on Discovery Quay in Falmouth, boasts over 15 galleries filled with a vast collection spanning artworks, maps, charts, memorabilia, and a boatbuilding workshop, providing a wealth of exploration for visiting families.
Running from February 10 to February 18, Science of the Sea is included in the museum's usual admission fee.
