Free tickets to screenings of The Iron Claw are being offered at Cornwall cinemas.
The initiative is part of a nationwide scheme by Escapes, supported by the BFI and National Lottery funding.
The aim is to encourage everyone to enjoy the big screen experience and independent film.
The campaign begins in February with over 15,000 free cinema tickets available to screenings in 126 cinemas across the UK.
The Iron Claw, a heart-breaking sports drama starring Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, and Harris Dickinson, will be the first film screened starting Monday, February 5.
It tells the true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers who made history in the fiercely competitive world of early 1980s professional wrestling.
Escapes' initiative covers locations from Cornwall to Edinburgh, Neath to Belfast, as well as London to Birmingham.
Venues range from major chains like Picturehouse to independent outlets such as Whitley Bay’s Jam Jar.
But Cornish residents will have the opportunity to take advantage of this initiative when it comes to the Plaza in Truro, White River Cinema in St Austell, and Lighthouse Cinema in Newquay.
One of the unique features aiding accessibility is that all screenings will present with descriptive subtitles on screen.
In addition to spotlighting hidden gems in cinema, Escapes is committed to offering a whole year of free independent film.
A new film to preview will be announced every month.
Cornwall's aspiring cinemagoers can sign up for tickets at escapetothecinema.co.uk/tickets.
