The seven-piece band known as Hejira, paying homage to the pieces of Joni Mitchell, is due to play in Falmouth later this year.
This performance is part of Hejira's UK tour and will see the band perform at The Cornish Bank in Falmouth on May 5.
The band primarily performs music from Ms Mitchell's later works in the 1970s, known as her 'jazz period'. The live album, 'Shadows And Light', offers the majority of the repertoire Hejira brings to the stage.
Hejira is lead by Hattie Whitehead, who captivates audiences with her reflections of Joni Mitchell's distinctive vocal power and elegance.
Ms Whitehead, also an accomplished guitarist, borrows from Ms Mitchell's style, bringing authenticity to her performances.
The audience can anticipate famous songs from Ms Mitchell's collection such as 'Amelia', 'Woodstock', 'A Case Of You', ’Song For Sharon', and 'Edith And The Kingpin’.
On stage with her are Pete Oxley on guitar, Ollie Weston playing the tenor and soprano saxophones, Chris Eldred with the keyboards, stand-up bass by Dave Jones, Rick Finlay on drums while Marc Cecil takes care of percussion.
