A convenience store in Penryn has applied for a licence to vary the times of when it can sell alcohol.
Ian McCabe, the franchise holder of Penryn Stores Ltd, located at 58-60 Lower Market Street, has submitted the application to Cornwall Council.
The proposal requests to vary the times of alcohol sales to between 7am and 10pm, seven days a week.
This was revealed in a public notice posted on the Public Notice Portal on February 14.
It states: "I Ian McCabe give notice that I have applied to Cornwall Council as Licensing Authority for the variation of a Premises Licence Certificate in respect of Coscutter (Spar) 58-60 Lower Market Street, Penryn, Cornwall, TR10 8BH.
"The application is to vary the times of the alcohol sales licence to Monday to Sunday, 7am to 10pm."
Individuals who want to support or challenge the application must write to the Licensing Team at Cornwall Council by no later than today (March 8).
Interested parties can view the application online or by contacting the licensing office directly.
Anyone providing a false statement in connection with this application faces the risk of a hefty £5000 fine.
