The founder of a Cornish brewing company hopes to raise funds for a new brewery taproom set to open next month.

Mike Mason, founder of Mason Brewing Co. has announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign which he hopes to see raise enough funds for a new taproom on the industrial estate in Threemilestone near Truro. 

Former head brewer at Driftwood Spars Brewery in St Agnes, Mike brings a wealth of expertise and passion for both traditional and modern beer styles to his latest venture.

With a background that includes judging at the World Beer Awards, hosting beer tastings at parliament and winning numerous awards, Mason Brewing Co. is set to become a staple in the Cornish brewing scene.

The planned brewery will feature an immersive brewery taproom serving a wide variety of own-brewed beers, as well as guest beers from some of the best breweries around the world.

The space is designed to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for people to gather and enjoy great beer.

Mike also said that he has plans for the new brewery taproom including renewing traditional brewing techniques to developing cutting-edge recipes.
