Police are seeking witnesses following an "incident" involving two children at a holiday park near Helston.
An appeal has now been launched following the incident, which was said to take place in the amusement arcade at Lizard Point Holiday Park, on the Helston to Lizard road.
It was said to have taken place between 5pm and 6pm on Sunday, March 24.
According to Devon and Cornwall Police, the incident involved two young children and a woman wearing a bright yellow top.
A force spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident involving two children at a holiday park in Cornwall.
“The incident took place in the amusement arcade at Lizard Point Holiday Park near Mullion between 5pm and 6pm on Sunday 24 March.
“It is reported that two young children entered the arcade from the adjacent function room, and when the father of one of the children went to find them, he entered the arcade to find a woman unknown to him holding each child by the arm.
“The father shouted for the woman to let go of the children, which she did. The children were then taken back to their families.
“The woman is said to have been wearing a bright yellow top.
“Anybody who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 or via our website quoting reference 50240072522."
The Packet has contacted the holiday park for a comment.
