The owners of a holiday company in Cornwall will hike 142 miles of the South West Coast Path to fundraise for Royal Cornwall Hospital.
Nadia and Tom Macer-Wright, who run B-corp accredited Cornish Gems, are aiming to raise £3,500 from April 1 to 7.
The funds collected will be used to purchase a solar-powered sound bench for staff and patient well-being at the hospital.
The installation, from sound artist Justin Wiggan at EchoPoint, is designed to improve mental health through the use of calming soundscapes.
The Macer-Wrights will meet local suppliers, business owners and partners along their hike.
They've also opened the invitation to community members to join them on the trail and support the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Charity.
Nadia Wright said: "At Cornish Gems, we strive to keep the well-being of our people and communities at our hearts, which is why it seemed only natural to raise money to support staff and patient well-being, at our local hospital, Treliske.
"In today’s fast paced world - and even more so when times are tough - it’s incredibly important to find a safe space.
"We want to help patients and staff to reduce their anxiety levels, build their resilience, and ultimately use mindfulness tools to help their healing process."
Karen Murrish, fundraising manager at RCHT, said: "It has never been more important to recognise the importance of wellbeing for our patients and NHS Staff.
"The support from the Cornish Gems team to provide this innovative bench is fantastic!
"We are excited to see the bench installed and to see the benefit to everyone that will undoubtedly use it to take some time out and recharge.
"We can’t thank everyone supporting them enough!"
Named Gems 142, the trek will take the pair from Welcombe Bay on the South West Coast Path to Land’s End.
Stopping at several points to meet local partners, they will pay visits to suppliers of The Cornish Food Box Company, a trusted partner of Cornish Gems.
The local community and guests booking through Cornwall Gems throughout March are invited to make contributions.
A Just Giving page has been set up and will accept donations until mid-April.
