The Falmouth Cringe says it is excited to announce the release of its first slate of comedians for its third annual comedy festival, taking place from July 4t to 7, 2024.
Headlining the festival's opening night on Thursday, July 4, is the irrepressible Nabil Abdulrashid with his eagerly awaited show, ‘The Purple Pill.’
Renowned for his appearances on Live at the Apollo and QI, Abdulrashid's latest offering promises to deliver an "unapologetically funny" exploration of empathy, morality, and political contradiction.
Garnering critical acclaim with a rating from The Guardian, "The Purple Pill" is set to captivate audiences with Abdulrashid's trademark wit and incisive humour.
Joining Abdulrashid on the inaugural programme release are a stellar line-up of comedic talents, including Morgan Rees, the award-nominated online sensation, embarks on his inaugural UK tour with ‘Turning Thirsty’ a side-splitting exploration of modern thirstiness.
Social media sensation Chris Hall promises to take audiences on a journey with his show ‘A Girl for All Seasons’, sharing tales from his life as a 'boy who’s a bit girly really.'
Hall's sketches have garnered over 12 million likes, 50 million views and spawned collaborations with Kylie, Shania Twain and JoJo.
Olga Koch, star of Live At The Apollo and QI, will bring her razor-sharp wit to the festival stage. Nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018, Koch's comedic prowess has earned her accolades and acclaim across the comedy landscape.
