A man who suffered "serious burns" in a fire in Penryn at the weekend had to be flown to hospital by air ambulance.
Emergency services were called to the property in Penryn at around 5.30pm on Saturday evening.
When they arrived they found a fire in a residential during which a man was said to have been "badly burned".
The air ambulance was called and the man was flown to the specialist burns unit at Southmead Hospital for treatment.
Posting on Facebook, Margaret Watts said her husband was badly burned in the fire and was now in Southmead Bristol burn’s unit.

An update posted by fire control about the incident in Penryn said: "Appliances from Falmouth and Truro responded to this incident.
"On arrival a fire involving a residential property was discovered.
"Firefighters extinguished the fire and one person received first aid. Police, ambulance [service] and air ambulance also attended this incident."
The incident came just hours before the emergency services were again called to incident in Falmouth on Saturday night, where a ten-year-old girl was attacked by a XL type dog in Lowenek Close, Falmouth.
She was taken to hospital with what have been described as "life changing" injuries.
