Members and friends of Sandokai Karate have taken part in a running challenge fundraiser for Children's Hospice South West.
The team initially planned to tackle 50 miles by running one-mile stints between Helston Rugby Club and the Cottage Hospital roundabout.
In a delightful twist, participants ended up completing an outstanding 120 miles, raising a hefty sum of £525 so far.
This is all with some sponsors still pending,
Every single pound is headed to Children's Hospice South West.
The act also epitomizes the spirit of martial arts to bring positive changes through direct action.
Club member Josh Hughes said: "So after finally collecting all of our sponsors.
"So far we have raised £525 smashing our target of £500.
"A massive thank you to all who turned up, donated, supported and marshalled us through the event.
"I cannot thank you guys enough.
"Will see you all on the next charity event."
People are encouraged to further donate through the official JustGiving page.
