A care home in Falmouth hosted an intergenerational play group for residents and the local community.
The event, which took place recently, saw Falmouth Court care home welcome Bits & Bobs Mid Cornwall Playgroup.
The group of toddlers and mothers enjoyed an afternoon of music, games and activities alongside the home's residents.
A particular highlight for both residents and young visitors was a communal sing along to popular nursery rhymes including 'The Wheels on the Bus'.
General manager Haley Reeve-Larson said: "We invited the group to the home as a way to support the carers who visit our home who have young children, and the residents at our home had a lot of fun on the day, and love our young visitors.
"If anyone ever wants to stop in for a lovely afternoon with your young ones, or just for a cuppa and a break, we’d love to have you join us".
Falmouth Court, run by leading care provider Barchester Healthcare, extends an open invitation to interested locals.
It is a facility committed to providing residential care and dementia care for 66 residents from respite care to long term stays.
