Popular guitarist Chantel McGregor will headline The Acorn in Penzance on September 7.
Known for her groundbreaking music career, she first made waves by becoming the first student in Leeds College of Music's history to achieve a 100 per cent pass mark.
Scoring 18 distinctions, she left the college with a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music and the coveted musician of the year award.
McGregor has since built a loyal and growing fan base, mesmerising audiences with her unique style.
Early in her career, she performed alongside renowned blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa on two UK tours.
One critic, on her 2011 debut album, said, "Chantel McGregor deserves to be held up as a messiah of blues-rock and given her own mountain.
"She doesn't strum or pick her guitar but almost bends and distorts it, as if she's channelling the ghost of Hendrix through her fingers."
Her second album, Like Control, released in October 2015, earned praise for its gothic imagery and varied arrangements.
Now, Ms McGregor has announced a new tour in 2024.
The Penzance show on September 7 will start at 8pm, with tickets priced at £18 for advance and £20 on the door.
