Fraser's Fish & Chips

Falmouth Packet:

For the past three years, Fraser’s has been one of Helston's go-to places for fish and chips.

There was much excitement when it was announced in 2021 that Pete and Sue Fraser own the highly regarded Harbour Lights in Falmouth and Fraser’s in Penzance.

Located at Turnpike in Helston, the shop offers a variety of dishes including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.

Customers have raved about the chippy on TripAdvisor. One person said: “We ordered online with a simple-to-use link to the website. Picked what we wanted, paid, given an order number and a time to arrive. When we arrived, the order was assembled and piping hot. The best was best to come.

“The meal was quite simply the best fish and chips we have had; the peas and curry sauce were in larger tubs than some Chippy’s and so tasty. Will be back very soon.”

Another person who visited the shop during the festive period said: “The takeaway fish and chips were great, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Good ordering system, both online and touch screen in-store.

“Staff were very friendly.

“Noticed a deep-fried mince pie on the menu. Had to try one. Don't think it will make it onto MasterChef but was ok. A talking point.”

Fraser's opening hours are 4.30pm to 8pm, Monday to Saturday. On Friday it opens from 12pm to 2pm, and then again at 4.30pm.
