Motorists are warned of several closures planned for the A30 over the next few weeks in preparation for the opening of the new dual carriageway.

The closures will begin next week with overnight shutdowns of the A30 between Chiverton and Mitchell.

These closures will take place nightly from Monday, June 3rd to Thursday, June 6th from 8pm until 6am each morning.

A more significant closure will follow, with a full weekend closure of the A30 between Chiverton and Summercourt planned from Friday, June 7th at 9pm until Monday, June 10th at 6am.

Local access will be maintained throughout the closures. Drivers can access points north and south at Chiverton and via the B3284 at Chybucca. The link from the A39 to the north will also be available through the B3285.
