Sharp's Brewery is celebrating its 30th anniversary by supporting Cornish events.

Based in Rock, the brewery has shown consistent support for Cornish community events and festivals since its inception in 1994.

As the summer events season kicks off, the Sharp's Brewery team is set to appear at an array of key events across Cornwall, including Rock Oyster Festival, the new Looe Food and Drink Festival, Live in the Wyldes, Falmouth Oyster Festival, Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival, Porthminster Café Beach BBQ and the Padstow to Rock Swim.

Nick White, brand activation manager for Sharp’s Brewery, said: "Myself and the Sharp’s team have always loved being part of the journey that our Cornish food and drink focused events and festivals have been on.

He praised the hard work behind each event and highlighted their value, saying: "We know how much hard work goes on throughout the year, behind the scenes, to put on each and every festival."

He added: "Festivals and events bring an invaluable, secondary income into the local surroundings that spreads throughout the local community year-round."

Mr White sees the brewery's contributions as a rewarding endeavour.

He explained: "It’s so rewarding for us to support this, bringing our beers, our experiences and our skills, mixed with creative spirit, to each brilliant happening."

He also acknowledged the important role events play within the local culinary scene.

He added: "Across Cornwall, there’s such a deep interest in our top quality food and drink scene.

"Our events and festivals offer an ongoing opportunity for our industry partners, chefs and friends to come together, to share their skills and favourite recipes and techniques."

Beyond Cornwall, the Sharp's team will engage festivalgoers and music enthusiasts at Wembley Arena, The Big Feastival and at the London Surf Film Festival.

Reflecting on this, Mr White said: "We love being out in the great outdoors, right across the UK, in all weathers, getting involved with chefs, presenters and ‘punters’ alike at every festival.

"We feel so lucky to have all these opportunities to share our award-winning beers and ales with people right across the country."
