A Falmouth fish and chip shop with a "community focus" has been named among the top 20 best in the UK.
Harbour Lights on Arwenack Street was featured on the list from The Observer, and was Cornwall's only representative.
The publication wrote: "Triple-cooked, with curry sauce and locally sourced… eat your heart out at these first choice chippies."

Harbour Lights was praised by The Observer for its local approach, especially in terms of where it sources its fish.
They wrote: "There’s a community focus at this Cornish chippie: local hake is celebrated; MSC-approved choices are marked.
"If you eat in mains come with unlimited chips; if you eat out, beware the seagulls."
On the Harbour Lights website, it emphasises how they aim to serve "the highest quality and responsibly sourced products" to their customers.
They add: "We encourage you to be brave and try a new species of fish, they are all delicious. Your willingness to experiment is great for the protection of the oceans too, as it takes pressure off the stocks of the most popular species.
"We always have a variety of Cornish Fish from Newlyn on the menu, if the fishing fleet are at sea, Our Cod, Haddock and South Atlantic Hake, are all MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certified."
Alongside this, Harbour Lights has received rave reviews from customers, with it earning a 4.5/5 score on Tripadvisor from 2,335 ratings.

Another wrote: "My husband bought take away fish and chips and we brought them back to our hotel. They were delicious, especially the fish cooked perfectly and very light crispy batter, probably the best battered fish I've tasted."
