Employees at a holiday resort near Helston have given a ringing endorsement in their latest company survey.
There was an overwhelmingly positive response by Sea Acres Holiday Park workers to Park Dean Resorts' People Engagement Survey.
Approximately 6,500 fill-time employees participated, which is a 12 per cent rise from last year.
Engagement levels stood at 83 per cent, two points higher than 2023.
This ranks it an impressive 15 per cent above the hospitality sector's standard.
In the annual company-wide survey, the holiday park operator achieved top marks in categories like management, teamwork and ownership.
Every employee affirmed feeling like part of the team and cared for by their manager.
Nearly everyone, at 94 per cent, agreed their job roles and success requirements were clear.
While 93 per cent felt their wellbeing was highly valued by their managers, and 90 per cent would recommend Parkdean Resorts as an exceptional place to work.
Additionally, 86 per cent agreed that the company is committed to taking care of its Parks, People and Planet.
Lisa Charles-Jones, HR director, Parkdean Resorts, said: "Our team are our greatest asset and an integral part in creating happy holidays and lifelong memories for the 3 million holidaymakers who visit our parks every year... the survey...is extremely important...We're highly proud of this year's results."
The company, employing 50 full-time staff at Sea Acres, recently invested just shy of £750,000 to enhance Cornwall’s eight Parkdean accommodations.
A recruitment drive for an additional 6,000 jobs was also announced to boost staffing efforts at 66 UK-wide parks, including 750 positions in Cornwall.
Job roles range from cleaning and kitchen work to lifeguards and security officers.
Notably, Parkdean Resorts takes pride in providing numerous pathways for career growth with 250 different job roles.
As an Ofsted-accredited employer, it offers hundreds of workers qualifications ranging from Level 2 to Level 5 annually.
In partnership with Cranfield University, the company also offers a Mastering Business Leadership programme for leadership development within the business.
