A Cornish brewery has been ranked as the second best pub operator in the UK.
The list was compiled by CGA by NIQ's PubTrack service, based on customer feedback and reputation.
St Austell Brewery is only surpassed by Brunning & Price, who topped the list for a second year.
The rankings, which calculate the satisfaction, revisit and recommendation scores of pub-goers, were gathered from a survey of 10,000 customers across the country.
PubTrack uses these scores to measure guests' sentiments and behaviours, providing pubs with guidance to improve their services.
Kevin Georgel, chief executive of St Austell Brewery, said: "We’re absolutely delighted to be named top pub operator in the South West and second in the country for the experiences we offer for our guests.
"This is particularly meaningful for us, as it’s based on the feedback and scores of those guests.
"At our heart, we are an experiential business".
He continued: "Whether that experience is drinking one of our excellent beers or visiting one of our fantastic pubs, our customers are always at the forefront of our decision making.
"We’re very proud to have made the top 10 and be in the company of so many established and accomplished British pub companies."
Dani Rowlands, from CGA by NIQ, said: "These PubTrack rankings provide the inside track on pub operators’ engagement with their guests.
"They’re an expert guide to which businesses are leading the way in satisfaction, and a valuable tracker of the groups and operational areas that need improvement."
