Charlestown Regatta Week is back for 2024 from Saturday, July 20 to Friday, July 26.
The annual community fundraising event, hosted around the historic Georgian harbour village, offers a fun programme of live music and entertainment for all the family.
The week’s activities also crucially serve to fundraise for local charities and good causes, and in the last year Charlestown Regatta has donated over £10,000.
A must-visit in the summer calendar, for residents and visitors alike, Charlestown Regatta Week is organised by volunteers and the 2024 event is the 52nd Regatta Week hosted in the village.
The week’s programme includes raft races, water sports, pasty demonstrations, a gig rowing challenge, and more, including the week’s musical finale, Regatta Rocks.
In addition, the St Austell Society of Artists are running a free-to-attend art exhibition at Pattern Hall in Charlestown from 10-5.30pm daily.
