Trenance Heritage Cottages are set to light up this winter after winning a £15,000 grant from Experience Newquay.
It has been announced that the grant will be used to introduce three new experiences of 'Trees and Tales'.
The new light displays will be used to celebrate Halloween, Christmas and St Piran's Week, and will be accompanied by various events and performances.
Trustees and The Garden Café owners put forward the plan to light up the trees surrounding The Heritage Cottages to the Experience Newquay panel.
The new uplit trees and projections on the cottages intend to provide a walk-through spectacle for locals and tourists.
Last year, the public expressed great enthusiasm for the additional Christmas tree lights.
According to the trustees, the new display will provide an experience never seen before in Newquay and enhance the heritage site's appeal.
Jill Willmott, chair of the board of trustees, said: "We were so delighted to have the chance to bring more to the Newquay community by utilising our fabulous park location.
"The light displays and events for each time of year will provide something special through winter.
"The funding will benefit our charity, the town and the whole of Trenance Valley and we would like to thank everyone involved in making this happen."
The first experience will be live for Halloween on October 27, while the Christmas tree light switch-on and full displays, accompanied by performances, will occur on November 23.
Details of all activities will be announced after the summer.
Local electricians and designers will handle the design and installation over the summer.
