Two people were arrested, and a quantity of suspected drugs was seized following a police warrant in Camborne last month.

Acting on information received, officers executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at the address in the Wellington Road area of the town on Friday, June 28.

Camborne Neighbourhood Police Team were joined by officers from the Operations department and a specialist drugs dog.

A large quantity of suspected class A and class B drugs, together with cash, phones and equipment, were seized.

A woman in her 40s from Camborne was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs, and money laundering. She has been released on bail until September 25 pending further enquiries.

A man in his 50s from Redruth was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and money laundering. He has been bailed until 20 September.

Sergeant Dave Bardle, from the neighbourhood team, said the warrant was executed as a result of information received.

“We would like to thank the public for providing the all-important information that enabled a warrant to be issued by the court,” said Sergeant Dave Bardle.

“This highlights our ongoing determination to pursue those who are suspected of drug-related activity in our communities.”
