More than 200 properties in Helston are currently without power due to a power cut.
The National Grid is informing residents about a power outage that occurred just after 11am this morning (Monday, July 22).
On the National Grid website, 218 properties are currently without power. Specific postcodes include:
TR13 0LR
TR13 8GA
TR13 8GB
TR13 8GL
TR13 8GW
TR13 8LT
TR13 8LU
TR13 8SY
TR13 8TR
TR13 8UY
According to The National Grid, the outage is due to a low voltage issue, meaning the problem is within the local distribution network, not the high-voltage transmission lines.
A spokesperson for The National Grid said: “National Grid is working to restore power and will provide updates as soon as possible.”
One resident received a text message from the National Grid. It reads: “We apologise for the inconvenience. Electricity supplies in your area will be interrupted between 12.15pm for approximately two hours.”
