UPDATE JULY 23, 2024: Officers investigating a report of indecent exposure in Newquay on Monday, July 1 have identified a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident.

It follows a photo appeal from the force.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We would like to thank the public for their assistance."


Police investigating a report of indecent exposure in Cornwall have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection to the incident.

At around 6pm on Monday, July 1 a man was reported to have exposed his genitals to an adult man and woman, and a 13-year-old child, in East Street, Newquay.

According to police, the suspect then left the scene and walked up the road towards the nearby church.

Today (Monday, July 22) Devon and Cornwall Police have released a picture of a man they hope could have information about what happened. A force spokesperson said: "Officers investigating the incident would like to identify the man pictured, as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

"We are aware the quality of the image is low but it is the only one we have available at this time."
