Appeal to find Craig Roberts missing in Looe, Cornwall

Determined to locate Craig Roberts, 52, Devon and Cornwall Police have now launched a third appeal to help find him.

Police are renewing their appeal for information on the whereabouts of Craig after he disappeared from Looe Bay Holiday Park, near Looe on Sunday, July 7.

Craig was last seen on CCTV footage leaving Looe Bay at approximately 5.45pm, turning right and walking past the Looe Caravan and Motorhome Club towards Tregoad on the B3253 St Martin Road.

Detective inspector Claire Nicholls has shared her concern. She said: “Police, alongside Coastguard Search and Rescue, police air support, drones, mountain rescue, and multiple partner agencies, have conducted extensive searches since Craig’s disappearance. He remains a high-risk missing person.”

The police are now urging anyone who may have seen Craig, given him a lift, or who has dash-cam footage from the relevant time period on the St Martin Road to come forward.

The 52-year-old is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins tall, with a slim build, short dark hair and nearly always wears a flat cap. He is also said to have limited mobility and was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, and black and white trainers.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “It has now been over two weeks since Craig's last sighting, and the police are growing increasingly concerned for his safety.

“We are actively continuing their search efforts and are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to his safe return.”
