Popular British tenor Russell Watson is coming to Truro as part of his Magnificent Buildings Tour.
He announced the extension of his tour into September 2024 due to popular demand.
The tour comprises six dates at various historic abbeys and cathedrals across Britain.
He will perform at Truro Cathedral on Monday, September 23 of this year.
Other visits include Bath Abbey, Exeter Cathedral, Christchurch Priory, Stoke Minster, before wrapping up at St Nicolas Church Newbury on September 28.
Encouraging local talent is high on Mr Watson's agenda.
At each venue, he will be supported on stage by a local choir.
Vocal ensembles and choirs from each show's area can apply for the chance to perform, with Mr Watson himself selecting the winners.
His unique voice has won him worldwide admiration, including four Classical Brit awards.
His performances will feature an assortment of old and new classic songs along with his greatest hits.
The tenor's arranger and pianist, Mike Moran, will accompany him.
He has sold more than seven million albums during his illustrious career and has performed for dignitaries including Her Majesty the Queen, thee Pope, and two US Presidents.
