A new 24-hour gym is coming to Cornwall giving fitness fans an opportunity to work out any time of the day or night.

Snap Fitness, which has more than 1,000 gyms worldwide, is taking over an empty warehouse at the Treliske Industrial Estate in Truro.

Opening in October, Snap Fitness Truro will be almost 10,000 sq ft in size, and offer members access 24 hour a day, seven days a week.

Members will have access to the equipment and group exercise classes, as well as a dedicated recovery area and free on-site parking.

The gym will be independently owned by a Snap Fitness franchisee, who said he would be employing local people.

Mark Williams, owner of Snap Fitness Truro, said: “We’re excited to be able to bring Snap Fitness to Truro.

“It’s really rewarding for us to be able to regenerate a vacant building and provide an inclusive, fitness facility for everyone.

“As a franchised business, Snap Fitness prides itself on community and people can expect a gym where people of all abilities can feel comfortable and welcome in.

“We will be creating a safe, vibrant and inspiring space for people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.”
