Cornwall’s best and 'worst' GP surgeries for overall experience have been revealed – as decided by their own patients.

The GP Patient Survey was sent to households across Cornwall as part of a national partnership between NHS England and Ipsos.

It asked a series of questions, from overall experience to ease of contact and how helpful receptionists are.

In total around 2.56 million questionnaires were sent out nationally to patients aged 16 or over and registered with GP practices in England, from January 2 to March 25, 2024.

Some 699,790 patients completed and returned a questionnaire, resulting in a national response rate of 27.3%.

The results have now been published and below we rank the highest and lowest scoring surgeries in Cornwall, based on ‘overall positive experience’.
