The Constantine Cottage Garden Society Annual Show has returned in full glory after years of interruption due to Covid and severe storms.
The event took place in a new venue, the village school, which was well a well received change of scene with its convenient facilities.
This year saw lower entries, particularly amongst children, with the potential reason being the coinciding school holidays.
Notable school entries included a ceramic fish exhibit.
Three-year-old Theo Bligh Smith stole the limelight by winning four trophies in his first year of participation.
Enthusiastically clutching his trophies, he was heard singing, "I won, I won!"
Previous recipients of the cup included his mother and uncles, when they were children, reflecting a continuity of winning traditions in the family.
First-time winner Jim Totman displayed three blue Hydrangea mop heads and proved successful.
Parish councillor Wendy Deering, who took home prizes in floral art, said: "My grandmother used to exhibit and she would have been so pleased to know I was carrying on the family tradition of winning cups in floral art, starting as a novice this year."
Regular entrants Sue Kuruber and Don Garman swept the board at the event, winning 12 silver trophies between them.
At the end of the event, prizes were given out by Cornwall Councillor John Bastin.
