Carn to Cove will bring a season of affordable music, theatre, dance, poetry, and family fun across Cornwall this autumn.

From September to December, 64 shows by 22 professional touring companies and artists will take place in 49 venues from Saltash to St Martins.

Carn to Cove is unique in that it transforms village halls, churches, libraries, and pubs into performance spaces, working with hundreds of volunteers to bring extraordinary shows to rural communities.

This approach ensures that high-quality arts are accessible and affordable for their audiences, with tickets starting from £5 per person.

It has now announced its programme for the remainder of 2024.

Programme manager Francesca Duncan said: "Our mission is to bring world-class performances directly to local communities, eliminating barriers of cost and travel.

"We're proud to offer a programme that makes arts accessible to all."

The season kicks off with Jaclarabag, serving a delightful mix of folk songs and tunes in Portscatho, Lanteglos, Saltash, Redruth, Helston, Crackington Haven, and Mylor Bridge.

Another highlight is Samson & Delilah, a drama set during the Spanish Armada, featuring a cast of 30, blending professional and community performers.

This Collective Arts CIC production traces the Armada's route, adding a unique local story at each venue.

Young audiences will be mesmerised by Petals and Tales, a magic blend of dance, music, and storytelling.

Panta Rei Danseteater, a Norwegian company, are exclusive to the South West, travelling from Oslo to Cornwall for their shows in Calstock and Redruth's Harbour Festival.

Carn to Cove is made possible thanks to National Lottery funding through Arts Council England.

The complete programme showcases a wide range of performances to suit all preferences and ages.
