Falmouth School sixth form students are celebrating exceptional A-Level and Level 3 results.

They were surrounded by family members, teachers, and friends as they received their results, which mark the beginning of many students' chosen degree courses and apprenticeships.

Falmouth sixth form also achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in both A-Level exams and vocational qualifications.

Highlights include: - 77 per cent of A-Level students achieved an A*-B in one or more subjects. - 32 per cent of A-Level students achieved A*-B grades across all three subjects, and 46 per cent of Level 3 vocational students achieved a Distinction or Distinction grade. - In photography, 80 per cent of students achieved an A*-B grade.

Head of sixth form, Mr James Worthington, said: "These exceptional A-Level results reflect the hard work, determination, and resilience of our students.

"We are incredibly proud of their achievements and are confident that they are well-prepared for their future endeavours in higher education and beyond.

"Congratulations to all on your success."

Notable student achievements include:

- Harry: AAB in history, English language, and English literature; will pursue history at the University of York. - Eli: A*AB in maths, further maths, and physics; excited to continue his passion for physics and maths. - Marnie: AAB in her extended project, English literature, and chemistry; will study biochemistry at the University of Exeter.

Other students are looking forward to studying psychology and counselling at the University of Brighton, and criminology at the University of Plymouth.

Additional destinations include Falmouth University, the University of Bristol, Surrey and Nottingham.

Headteacher Lenka Chanter said: "Falmouth School is proud to announce that our students have surpassed themselves this year.

"We are exceptionally proud of all our students.

"All these wonderful achievements are down to their zeal, commitment, and passion for learning.

"We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our students for their exceptional hard work and dedication."

Students have shared their thoughts as well.

Harry expressed that his experience at Falmouth Sixth Form was "amazing", and he is even considering becoming a teacher in the future.

Falmouth School and Sixth Form have also thanked parents, guardians, and the local community for their role in creating a nurturing environment that contributed to the students' success.

These partnerships between home and school have been essential in achieving the outstanding results celebrated today.
