Students at Camborne Science and International Academy (CSIA) are celebrating an outstanding set of A-Level results.

The school has achieved a 100 per cent pass rate for the 10th consecutive year, with 42 per cent of grades being at A*-A grade.

This follows The VI Form Academy receiving an "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted in January.

Principal Emma Haase said: "We are delighted with the achievements of our A-Level students.

"These results reflect two years of hard work and determination from both students and staff, who have worked tirelessly to achieve the best possible results."

Among the standout achievers are:

- Ellie Hindson, who achieved four A* grades in chemistry, mathematics, further mathematics, and physics, and an A in EPQ.

She is going to Cambridge University to study natural sciences.

- Zoe McGuire, who earned four A* grades in computer science, mathematics, further mathematics, and physics.

She will be studying mathematics and computer science at Oxford University.

- Maya Dennis, who achieved three A* grades in biology, chemistry, and mathematics, and an A in her EPQ.

She will be studying biochemistry, molecular, and cellular at Oxford University.

- Sam Potter, who will be studying natural sciences at Durham University, having secured three A* grades in chemistry, mathematics, and physics, and an additional A in further mathematics.

- Seb Parkin, who successfully achieved three A grades in chemistry, biology, and mathematics, and an A* in his EPQ, has secured a place to study veterinary medicine at Liverpool University.

- Freya Gillison, who has secured her place to study medicine at Cardiff University after achieving an A* in biology and two A grades in chemistry and mathematics.

- Oliver Honeybone achieved three A* grades in mathematics, further mathematics, and physics and will go on to study mathematics at Warwick University.

- Jamie Gore achieved three A* grades in mathematics, further mathematics, and physics, and has secured a place at Bath University to study mathematics.

- George Springhall has secured a place at Exeter University to study Physics (with study abroad) after securing four A* grades in mathematics, further mathematics, physics, and EPQ, and an A grade in geography.

- Evie Ratliffe is heading off to Warwick University to read Biomedical Sciences after achieving three A* grades in biology, chemistry and EPQ, and an A grade in mathematics.

- Peyton Jackson achieved three A* grades in biology, chemistry and EPQ and an A in mathematics.

- John Kosmanis achieved four A* grades in chemistry, mathematics, further mathematics and physics, and will be studying mechatronic and robotic engineering at Sheffield University.

- Holly Webb has secured a place at Bristol University to study engineering design after achieving an A* in design technology and two A’s in maths and physics.

Numerous other students have exhibited noteworthy achievements.

Matei Amarandi achieved two A* grades in mathematics and further mathematics, an A in computing and a B in psychology.

Morien Steinhardt achieved two A* grades in mathematics and design technology, and two A’s in further mathematics and EPQ.

Oliver Kirkbride of The VI Form Academy said: "We’re really proud of our students’ achievements, and pleased that yet again, we have improved results across the board.

"We have seen an increase of 12 per cent in our top results, building on what was already outstanding."

The school says the accomplishments of CSIA's Class of 2024 underscore the school's commitment to nurturing academic prowess and fostering a bright future for its students.
