Year 11 students at Camborne Science and International Academy (CSIA) are celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results.
The class of 2024 gathered at school to receive their results today, supported by their friends, family and teachers.
Principal, Emma Haase said: “We are very proud of our students and the results they have achieved, which are hugely deserved.
“They have worked extremely hard over the last two years, and throughout their time with us, and it’s brilliant to be celebrating their achievements today.
“I would like to thank all our students, their families, our staff and the wider academy community for their ongoing support and we look forward to seeing our students progress to the next stage of their education and fulfil their goals.”
Notable Student Achievements:
Among the standout achievers is Chloé Frankland who achieved an incredible 10 Grade 9s in English Language, English Literature, Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Geography, History, and Further Maths.
Hattie McGuire also achieved outstanding results with 9 Grade 9s in, English Language, English Literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Spanish, and Further Maths alongside a Grade 8 in Economics.
Jethro Nenner achieved an amazing 8 Grade 9s, in English Language, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, and Further Maths, with a Grade 8 in Economics and a Grade 7 in English Literature.
Mateusz Stempkowski, who achieved a well-deserved Grade 9 in Computer Science and four Grade 8s in Biology, Chemistry, DT, and Physics, is eagerly looking forward to studying Physics, Maths, Computer Science and EPQ at the VI Form
Archie Rowland achieved 8 Grade 9s in, English Language, Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Product Design (DT), Grade 8 in Further Maths and Grade 7 in English Literature.
Jess George achieved 7 Grade 9s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Computer Science, Further Maths, Grade 8 in Economics and Grade 7 in English Language and English Literature. Jess is very excited to continue her education at CSMS.
Maya Congreve achieved 6 Grade 9s in English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, History and HPQ. She also achieved Grade 8s in Physics, Economics, Geography and Maths.
Niamh Gallagher achieved 6 Grade 9s in Art, Product design (DT), English Language, Geography and History, alongside Grade 8s in English Literature, Maths and Science.
Leia Martin achieved 6 Grade 9s in English Language, English Literature, History, Media, and Sociology with a Distinction* in Music. Leia is also continuing her studies at the VI Form Academy with CSIA
Rachel Trevarthen, Vice Principal at CSIA, added to the praise: "We're delighted with another year of outstanding GCSE results. It’s on days like today when we see so many smiling faces, that we create some of the most treasured memories within our school community.
“The success of every student at our Academy means so much to us and we’re truly proud of our high level of attainment, which reflects the effort put in by students and staff throughout the academic year.”
